a little backstory…

Josy grew up mainly in North Carolina (just incase you ever wonder why she says “y’all” here and there), where she attended East Carolina University, graduating with a BFA in Theatre Arts alongside completing the two-year Meisner concentration for Professional Acting. From school, she moved to NYC to further pursue her acting career. Along the way, she has landed roles such as Tatiana in ‘Meet Cute’ streaming on Peacock, the face of Union Home Mortgage as Mia, Wednesday in ‘The Addams Family’ at Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre, Ilse in Spring Awakening at Northern Stage, and Anna Held in ‘Tintypes’ at Porthouse Theatre. Her favorite musical is Miss Saigon.

She is currently bi-coastal and has freelance modeled with many exceptional photographers, collaborating with new and different looks from editorial, to fitness, to conceptual work that can be found mainly on her Instagram: @josysorianooo

In her free time, Soriano likes getting her heart-rate up at the gym, taking a pole class, drawing with pen or charcoal, designing tattoos, and spreading recovery awareness through Stretch Therapy. She also loves going on walks with a club soda in hand from the bodega around the corner and she’s currently working on trying to find her balance with her obsession for calisthenics in a handstand. Her friends would describe her as being grounded- but with a silly side. For any of those horoscope junkies out there, she’s a Taurus to a T.
